What kind of alcohol is in your slushies?
We do not have a liquor license. We only have a beer license so we can only sell beer and beer-like products including malt liquor. Our slushies are made from malt liquor products that we mix in different combinations to get our unique flavors which we change regularly for variety. All of our malt liquor products are filtered to be 99% gluten free.
CAN I GET MY SLUSHY IN A DISPOSABLE CUP?
No. We are committed to keeping as much trash out of the lake as possible while still offering sanitary packaging for our food products. The refillable cups help us keep your cost down and keep the lake clean. We will only fill a cup that says Shady Grove because our cups come in 16 and 32 ounce sizes. If you have a favorite Yeti, you are welcome to pour your drink into that cup once you are on your boat, but please do not ask us to fill it in the kitchen. We are happy to sanitize your cups within reason so give them a good rinse to get the sugar out and leave them on your boat so you won't forget them.
DO YOU HAVE ANY SLIPS AVAILABLE?
We typically stay at 100% capacity, however we do maintain a waiting list. Although our list is lengthy, you can't get in if you don't get on the list. Shady Grove is the place to be on Lake Chickamauga! Slip prices vary by the size of slip. Currently those prices are:
50' - $425/month 40' - $340/month 36' - $275/month 34' - $255/month 29' - $220/month
DO YOU HAVE PUBLIC BATHROOMS?
Yes, but they are not located inside the store because the store floats. Follow the main dock to the first ramp and it goes to the bathhouse.
DO YOU CARRY CIGARETTES?
No. We do not carry tobacco or vape products of any kind including snuff or chewing tobacco.
ARE YOU DOG FRIENDLY?
We love dogs that are well behaved and on leashes. We have a small grassy area for your pooch to go potty near the bath house. We provide a pooper scooper for you to remove the mess. On busy days we prefer that you keep your fur babies on the boat because although WE love dogs, not everyone does, and not all dogs like each other.
DO YOU SELL GAS?
Yes. We sell 90 octane, 100% gasoline with Valvtech additive to stabilze fuel and protect your engine from 3 pumps, and low-Sulphur, dyed diesel from the 4th. We order weekly and post prices on our Facebook page.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes. You can buy one or more $25 Shady Grove Gift Certificates good for one calendar year.
